Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura arrives in Tokyo in 2021

After Florence and Los Angeles, the retro - chic establishment, created by the world’s leading luxury fashion brand Gucci and world-renowned chef Massimo Bottura, is about to be also launched in Japan’s capital.

Osteria Tokyo, a contemporary Italian restaurant, is scheduled to open its doors in Ginza this year -the exact date is yet to be announced- and will be curated by three-Michelin star chef Massimo Bottura in collaboration with talented Karime Lòpez, Head Chef of the original Gucci Osteria in Florence. The first Gucci Osteria premiered in January 2018, was awarded its first Michelin star in 2020, and was the first part of a series of contemporary restaurants that share the same values and principles under one Gucci Osteria umbrella. The unique menus of Gucci Osteria showcase, elegance and forward thinking in a creative dialogue between the philosophies of the culinary “novelist” chef Massimo Bottura and one of the world’s leading luxury fashion brands.
